Hyde Park
Written April 4, 2012
In London there's a place to go,
Which is as lovely as a field of snow.
It stretches far in every way,
And is quite a sight on a clear blue day.
The Serpentine slithers through the grass,
And visited by animals and people en masse.
The ducks play in the water, or use the shore as their bed,
And are hoping that by some kind person they are fed.
The Diana memorial fountain is near,
To hear the babbling water, you need just lend an ear.
For a nice walk in London, go to Hyde Park,
On a beautiful London day it really hits the mark.

To get you where you need to go, Just use the Tube, don't you know? It whizzes you through London, under the ground, And (occasionally) doesn't make a sound. Want to go to Westminster and the Parliament Houses? The Tube will get you there quicker than mouses. The Circle, District, Jubilee and more lines, It's easier to navigate than swinging on vines. Just don't forget to "Mind the Gap," Or you may end up looking like you're taking a nap. Don't forget to let people off before you get on, Or any space that was there will very quickly be gone. And last but not least, you'll need your Oyster card, With it all of London is like your backyard. |

View from Tower Bridge
Above the River Themes it stands, From the top you can see the surrounding lands. It raises and lowers to let ships pass, So they can continue travelling the river without breaking their masts. The Tower Bridge stands above the river strong, Watching the people of London travel along. It watches over the Tower of London too, It wasn't even destroyed during World War II. So here's to the Tower Bridge, long may it be here, May it always be to London very dear.
