Flight in

Take off was pretty good. The plane took awhile to get onto the runway. At takeoff I survived. It was really cool as we took off because the city looked so nice, and it was really cool to see it. The moon was really bright, and I was able to see it the entire flight which was nice. Once aboard we got little blankets, pillows, and night pack things with socks, a toothbrush, a sleeping mask, and the tiniest tube of toothpaste I’ve ever seen. We also got headphones at some point during the flight. I got a slight headache during the first part of the trip and as we began the landing process …my head does not like the pressure changes I think. I wanted to get sleep on the plane but unfortunately didn’t (partly due to a completely full plane, partly due to the little kid behind me occasionally kicking my chair.

I liked landing a lot, it was nice as we were over land and the clouds were blanketing the clouds slightly less because through the clouds I could see glimpses of cities, farmlands and everything. Once we began descending a bit above London it was amazing, I actually saw the Gherkin and the tall building near it, one of which was Nido. After we landed (30 minutes early) it took about an hour and fifteen minutes to go through the line at customs. We then got our bags and found the bus to get to Nido.
